Special Assistant on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar today announced that a package aimed at reviving sick industrial units will soon be introduced.

Addressing a meeting in Islamabad, Akhtar revealed that the Prime Minister has shown strong support for the initiative and has entrusted him with the task of crafting the package. He highlighted that reviving these struggling industrial units is expected to create new job opportunities, addressing unemployment concerns.

Akhtar also outlined plans to focus on facilitating access to credit and securing long-term financing for businesses, ensuring the sustainability of revived industries. The initiative marks a significant step towards revitalizing the industrial sector and fostering economic growth.
