In a vibrant display of camaraderie and cultural exchange, the iconic Burj Azadi in Tehran lit up with the colors of Pakistan and Iran to commemorate Pakistan’s National Day. The event, organized ahead of the eve of March 23, witnessed a gathering of Pakistani diaspora, students, and media representatives.
Ambassador of Pakistan, Mr. Mudassir Tipu, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the historical ties and cultural relations shared by the neighboring countries. He expressed gratitude to the Iranian government for their support in facilitating the celebrations. The evening featured national anthems, traditional music representing Pakistan’s federating units, and vivid displays of the country’s landscapes.
Ambassador Tipu highlighted Pakistan as the cradle of ancient civilizations like Harappa, Moenjodaro, and the Indus Valley, with Mehrgarh in Balochistan being noted as the world’s most ancient archaeological site. He advocated for strengthening ties through cultural activities and tourism promotion, thanking all participants for their enthusiastic presence.
