Met Office Predicts Dry, Partly Cloudy Weather in Parts of Balochistan

The Meteorological Department Quetta Regional Center today projected that most parts of the province will experience dry and partly cloudy conditions during next 24 hours. Southern and southeastern regions can expect warm to hot days, while upper and northern areas, including hilly regions, will face cool to cold nights.

The forecast for the next 48 hours indicates the continuation of partly cloudy weather across the province. There is a possibility of isolated drizzle, rain, or wind thunderstorms in parts of districts Panjgur, Kech, Awaran, Surab, and Khuzdar. These weather conditions are anticipated to develop during late-night hours.

Over the past 24 hours, temperature readings varied significantly across the region. The lowest and highest temperatures were recorded in Kalat, ranging from 2.0°C to 16.0°C, while Quetta saw temperatures between 2.5°C and 20.0°C. Other notable temperature readings included Zhob at 10.0°C to 22.5°C, Khuzdar at 12.0°C to 28.0°C, and Turbat at 15.8°C to 34.5°C.
