Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar today sought initial details from SSP Jamshoro regarding the police action on the alleged abduction of a Hindu girl from the precincts of Kotri Police Station Limits.

In a statement, the home minister said that efforts should be made to ensure the recovery of the abducted girl through extraordinary investigation into the case.

The affected family and representatives of the local Hindu community, along with other notable figures, should be taken into confidence regarding the investigation, said Lanjar. He said that all aspects and motives of the investigation should be handled with utmost diligence.
