The government plans to launch the first-ever national youth employment policy to address the biggest challenge of unemployment in the country.
This was announced by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Shiza Fatima while addressing the Pakistan Youth Convention in Islamabad.
She said unemployment is the biggest challenge facing the country for which a comprehensive policy has been formulated and will be launched soon.
Shiza Fatima said one hundred thousand skill scholarships are being awarded to the youth to boost skilled workforce, which would eventually uplift the industry by bridging the demand-supply gap of human resource.
