Quetta: Collectorate of Customs Baluchistan’s warehouse at Lakpass area was inundated due to a breach in a dam near Quetta-Taftan highway on Saturday. The gushing water washed away all the expensive goods expensive seized goods which had been stored in the warehouse. The officials posted at Customs check post in Lakpass area saved some goods through hectic efforts.

Heavy rains have played havoc in Balochistan province where several dams have been damaged while rural areas have been inundated. The people are facing trouble to shift themselves to safe areas due to submerging of routes in rural areas.
