CDA Chairman directs completion of landscaping of Jinnah Square, Tayyip Erdogan Interchange

A Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa led meeting on Monday discussed the landscaping of the Jinnah Square and Tayyip Erdogan Interchange projects here in Islamabad.

The meeting was attended by the Member Environment, Member Engineering, Member Administration, Architects, experts, and senior officers of the CDA.

The Chairman CDA, while implementing the directives of the Prime Minister, emphasized the need for beautifully and aesthetically pleasing landscaping for the Jinnah Square and Tayyip Erdogan Interchange projects.

He instructed all concerned that unique and attractive designs should be prepared and implemented for both interchanges. He also directed the architects to prepare 3D designs to further enhancing the beauty of both projects.

The Chairman CDA further instructed that the interchanges constructed in both projects be adorned with modern and elegant LED lights to ensure proper illumination.

He directed the comprehensive, sustainable, and feasible designs for the landscaping, emphasizing that both underpasses should be modernized on a long-term basis within the stipulated timeframe.

Muhammad Ali Randhawa instructed that the landscaping of the Jinnah Square Interchange project should reflect Pakistan’s struggle for independence and its historical landmarks.

He directed that the landscaping work on both interchanges must be started after approval of suitable designs which will be approved after due diligence which will be completed within the given timelines to beautify the projects for making Islamabad more beautiful.

He made it clear that no compromise would be made on the quality, standard and sustainability of the work of the projects. He instructed that both interchanges not only be made more beautiful but also that their landscaping should be made on modern and sustainable foundations.

The landscaping of both projects will contribute significantly to enhancing the beauty of the federal capital Islamabad which is one of the most beautiful capitals of the world.
