Pakistan Bar Council demands Full Court in Election Delay Case

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Bar Council has expressed concerns over division among the Supreme Court (SC) judges and demanded full court for hearing the case related to a delay in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) elections, ARY News reported on Tuesday. The Pakistan Bar Council spokesperson said in a statement that the full court should hear the election delay case to prevent the country from facing anarchy. ISLAMABAD: A local court in Lahore Wednesday granted interim bail to PTI General Secretary Asad Umar in a terrorism case till April 7. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf general secretary again submitted his bail application to the anti-terrorism court as the court rejected his bail yesterday following his non-appearance.
