From Saturday until May 4, there is a risk of damage to weak infrastructure due to storms, hail, thunderstorms, and heavy rain in various parts of the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong winds and rain on Saturday in Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Potohar region, Islamabad, northeastern and central Punjab, northeastern Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

In the past 24 hours, storms and rain have been recorded in Kashmir, northeastern and central Punjab, the Potohar region, Islamabad, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The weather remained hot and dry in other parts of the country.

The Meteorological Department reported 33 mm of rain at Muzaffarabad Airport in Kashmir and 22 mm in the city. In Punjab, Narowal recorded 31 mm and Hafizabad 20 mm of rain. Winds were recorded at 15 kilometers per hour at Lahore Airport.

On Saturday, Islamabad and its surrounding areas are expected to have partly cloudy skies with the possibility of storms and rain. Hail is also expected during this time.

Other areas, including Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Lahore, and other cities in southern Punjab, are also expected to experience strong winds and rain on Saturday.

The Meteorological Department has warned citizens to take precautionary measures during these days and avoid unnecessary travel.
