Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has emphasized the crucial role of religious scholars in promoting harmony during Muharramul Haram.
Mr Tessori expressed these views during a meeting with Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani at Darul Uloom Karachi, according to a statement issued from the Governor House today. He urged the scholars to spread the message of Islam.
Upon his arrival at Darul Uloom Karachi, the Sindh governor was welcomed by Mufti Dr Noman Naeem. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on promote religious harmony during Muharram, the role of religious scholars, and other important matters.
HE stated that national challenges could only be addressed through collective efforts, highlighting the significant role of scholars in this regard. Special prayers for the development and prosperity of the country were also offered at the meeting.
