Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday strongly denounced what it termed an unprovoked assault by the United States on Iran’s nuclear sites.
The party, in a statement released on X (formerly Twitter), characterized the action as a serious breach of Iran’s national sovereignty, territorial integrity, the United Nations Charter, and the U.S. constitution itself.
The PTI emphasized that the aggression lacked congressional authorization and occurred while Iran was already contending with Israeli hostility. The party believes this action, intended to subdue Iran, will exacerbate regional instability.
The statement further criticized the disregard for international accords, legal principles, peaceful coexistence, and humanitarian concerns. The PTI warned this incident brings the globe closer to uncontrolled conflict.
The party demanded a cessation of antagonism towards Iran and urged dialogue to address outstanding matters peacefully, without resorting to force. The PTI reaffirmed its complete backing for Iran’s sovereignty, territorial wholeness, and its right to peaceful resource utilization. They expressed solidarity with the Iranian people in their struggle for freedom.
