Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today ordered the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) to implement rapid measures to enhance tourism throughout the nation.

During a meeting in Islamabad, he stressed the creation of dedicated tourism areas to invigorate the industry. He advocated for collaborative efforts between government and private entities to simplify international tourist access to Pakistan”s attractions. He proposed showcasing Pakistan as a travel destination globally.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of promoting local tourism and providing amenities for domestic travelers at leisure locations. He called for a comprehensive strategy for sustained investment in the tourism industry.

Sharif emphasized Pakistan”s abundant natural resources and scenic beauty, highlighting the country”s vast potential to generate foreign currency through its tourism sector.
