Pakistan’s agricultural prowess was on full display at the Pakistani Mango Festival 2025 held at Le Royal Meridien Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The Embassy of Pakistan in the UAE, partnering with the Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF), organized the event, which drew a substantial crowd of Emirati officials, diplomats, business executives, and members of the Pakistani diaspora.
Dr. Muhammad Farhan, the festival”s chief organizer, initiated the proceedings by expressing gratitude to Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi and the Pakistani Embassy for their unwavering support.
Ambassador Tirmizi, Pakistan”s representative to the UAE, underscored Pakistan”s position as the world”s fourth-largest mango producer, emphasizing the fruit”s unique flavor, fragrance, and diverse cultivars. He pointed out that almost 60% of Pakistan”s mango shipments are destined for the Gulf, highlighting the robust regional appetite for these delectable treats.
The ambassador stressed the significance of such cultural and promotional gatherings in bolstering the global perception of Pakistani goods. ‘Events like the Mango Festival not only showcase our agricultural achievements but also foster connections and camaraderie between the people of Pakistan and the UAE,” he stated.
The festival showcased an array of premium Pakistani mango varieties, much to the attendees” enjoyment.
