Nationwide Campaign Launched for Children Missing Vaccinations

A nationwide vaccination campaign, “Big Catch-up,” for children who have missed routine vaccinations across the country began Monday morning. The campaign is launched in collaboration with the Pakistani government and other supporting agencies under the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO) Pakistan, aiming to fill the vaccination gap created due to COVID-19, epidemics, the 2022 floods, and other factors.

This initiative aims to eliminate vaccination disparities and provide every child with the necessary vaccines. The program highlights the commitment to improving primary health services in the country and protecting future generations from preventable diseases. WHO, emphasizing the life-saving effects of vaccines, states that vaccination prevents one death every ten seconds.
