President of Azad Kashmir Tanveer Ilyas Expresses Concern Over Atrocities in Occupied Kashmir

During an important meeting at Kashmir House, Islamabad, the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Choudhary, and the President of the Pakistan Stability Party and former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, expressed grave concerns over the ongoing human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir by India. The leaders appealed to the international community to intervene immediately to stop these actions.

During their meeting, both leaders welcomed the mediation proposal offered by US President Donald Trump regarding the Kashmir conflict. President Choudhary emphasized that the situation in Kashmir has reached a critical juncture, highlighting the necessity to take advantage of the American President’s offer to find a peaceful resolution.

Highlighting the importance of inclusion in the negotiation process, President Choudhary stressed that the people of Kashmir should be central participants in the dialogue. Their involvement is considered essential for developing a sustainable and comprehensive solution in accordance with United Nations resolutions.

The conversation between Choudhary and Khan also touched upon political developments within Azad Kashmir. They discussed various topics, including regional and international issues affecting the area.
