Governor Sindh Contacts Iranian Ambassador, Discusses Safe Return of Pakistani Pilgrims

In a significant development aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of Pakistani pilgrims in Iran, the Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, held an important discussion with the Iranian Ambassador, Reza Amiri Moghaddam. The conversation, which took place over the phone, focused on facilitating the prompt and safe return of Pakistani pilgrims.

During the conversation, Ambassador Moghaddam appreciated Pakistan’s strong stance and efforts for cooperation amidst regional tensions. He assured the Governor that Iran would fully support the arrangements for the return of Pakistani pilgrims. This commitment highlighted the strength of bilateral relations and the shared concern for the welfare of citizens amidst geopolitical challenges.

Following the dialogue with the Iranian Ambassador, Governor Tessori also contacted the Pakistani Ambassador in Iran, Mudasir Tipu. He instructed Ambassador Tipu to provide all necessary facilities to the pilgrims and expedite their return. In response to these instructions, Ambassador Tipu confirmed that arrangements were actively being made to facilitate their safe and immediate return.
