On behalf of the President of Pakistan, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Deputy Chairman Development Control Committee and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), conferred civil awards upon 47 eminent scientists and engineers associated with the National Command Authority (NCA) in recognition of their outstanding contributions.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) here on Tuesday, the prestigious investiture ceremony was held at Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi, where the decorated officers were lauded for their dedicated services in support of national development and strategic programs.

Among the recipients, 10 officers were awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, 21 officers received the President’s Award for Pride of Performance, and 16 officers were honoured with the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz. These awards reflect the nation’s appreciation for their significant roles in advancing scientific and engineering excellence in critical areas.

The event underscored Pakistan’s commitment to acknowledging the pivotal role of its scientific community in strengthening national capabilities and ensuring a secure future.
