President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, stated that Azerbaijan has always endorsed the stance of the Kashmiri people, for which he extends his gratitude to the government and people of Azerbaijan. He expressed hope that Azerbaijan will continue to assist in securing the basic right of self-determination for the Kashmiri people at international forums.

He mentioned that the Kashmir issue is an unresolved matter on the United Nations’ agenda, remaining incomplete for the past seven decades. During the recent tensions between Pakistan and India, Azerbaijan played a significant role.

In a special interview, the President of Azad Kashmir said that India attempted a false flag operation to blame Pakistan, but this propaganda failed. The Pakistan Army effectively responded to India’s aggression.

He welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump’s offer to mediate and emphasized the need to include the Kashmiri people in negotiations to resolve the Kashmir issue.

President of Azad Kashmir praised the literacy rate among women, noting that the rate of women’s education in Azad Kashmir is high, and they are playing an effective role in societal development. He stated that women in Azad Kashmir have a conducive environment, which contributes to their success.
