PM embarks on first leg of four-nation tour

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday embarked on a pivotal four-nation tour, starting with Turkiye, to strengthen bilateral and regional cooperation.

Accompanying him on the journey are Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.

The tour, which will continue until the 30th of this month, includes visits to Turkiye, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan. During these visits, the Prime Minister will engage in comprehensive discussions with the leaders of these nations, addressing topics such as bilateral ties and regional and international concerns.

Additionally, Sharif is scheduled to express gratitude for the support these countries provided to Pakistan during its recent crisis with India. He will also attend the International Conference on Glaciers in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on the 29th and 30th of this month.
