The head of Anjuman Naujawan-e-Islam Pakistan, social leader Muhammad Saleem Attari, has expressed deep concern over the increasing incidents of terrorism across the country. Muhammad Saleem Attari condemned the killing of passengers after being offloaded from buses in Balochistan and demanded that all political parties prioritize national security instead of political maneuvering.
Addressing a private gathering of political figures, Attari expressed grief over the escalating violence and sympathized with the families of the victims. He emphasized that terrorists indiscriminately target civilians and security personnel, including the army, police, FC, Rangers, and other law enforcement agencies.
He condemned the ongoing political discord, stating that while every party condemns these attacks and demands government action, concrete steps are lacking. The federal and provincial governments, along with the Ministry of Interior, have failed to curb the violence, often limiting their response to investigations and statements, only for another tragedy to strike soon after.
Attari highlighted the politicians’ focus on power struggles, government formation and collapse, and securing individual releases, while neglecting the grave threat of terrorism. He called for a united front among all political parties, both inside and outside Parliament, to address this threat and demanded strict implementation of the National Action Plan.
