Pakistan’s top leadership today emphatically reaffirmed its ‘unshaken and rock solid’ strategic partnership with Turkiye, conveying heartfelt congratulations to the government and its people on the 102nd anniversary of their Republic Day.

In a message delivered via his X handle, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif lauded Turkiye’s significant progress. He pointed to the nation”s “remarkable transformation and economic resurgence” over the decades, attributing this success to the bold and dynamic leadership of President Erdogan, which he noted has garnered global admiration.

The Prime Minister articulated that Pakistan takes immense pride in the achievements of its Turkish counterparts and remains a steadfast partner in their ongoing journey of advancement. He underscored that the two countries are united by profound connections of faith, history, and fraternity that transcend both geography and time.

Mr. Sharif further stated that the relationship has progressed into a “new era of strategic partnership” under President Erdogan’s sagacious guidance. He expressed a shared commitment to unlocking the vast potential of their time-tested and enduring ties across all areas of mutual interest.

Echoing these sentiments, President Asif Ali Zardari described Turkiye”s Republic Day as a “defining moment in world history.” He recalled the period when the resilient Turkish nation, under the visionary guidance of Mustafa Kemal Atatrk, embarked on a transformative path of reform, progress, and renewal.

The President remarked that the courage and determination demonstrated by the people of Trkiye in shaping their own destiny continue to serve as an inspiration for generations globally. He noted that historical figures such as Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had praised the heroic leadership that led to the establishment of the Republic and its revolutionary reforms.
