The National Assembly has extended its current session for important legislation related to public welfare. In a meeting of the House Business Advisory Committee chaired by Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, it was decided to continue the 18th session until August 13, 2025.

The meeting discussed the agenda and duration of the session. The extended session will focus on question hour and the approval of laws related to public welfare.

The meeting began with a prayer for the late Member of the National Assembly, Mian Azhar. Several federal ministers and members of the National Assembly attended the meeting, including Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Khalid Hussain Magsi, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Syed Hafeezuddin, Muhammad Riaz Fatiyana, Pauline Baloch, Ms. Shazia Marri, Ms. Nazhat Sadiq, and Ms. Syeda Shehla Raza.
