An earthquake measuring magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale struck Ladakh region of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an earthquake measuring magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale struck Leh district area of the region on Wednesday, said National Center for Seismology (NCS).
The NCS stated that a magnitude 4.4 earthquake hit Leh, Laddakh at 08:12:59 IST. As per NSC the Latitude and longitude of the earthquake was recorded at 36.10 N, and 74.81 E respectively while its depth was recorded at 150 km. However, no loss of life or property has been reported.
