China to Support Sindh’s Water and Solar Projects, More Investments Expected

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah met with Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong here today to discuss ongoing China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects and future collaborations.

During the meeting, the chief minister stated that new development opportunities have emerged following President Asif Ali Zardari’s meeting with the Chinese President. He highlighted plans to initiate various water projects in Karachi with Chinese assistance and expand cooperation in solar energy initiatives.

Expressing interest in finalizing major development projects, he revealed plans to visit China soon. He emphasized that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto gives special importance to Pakistan-China relations, recalling his visits to China as foreign minister.

The Chinese consul general assured that investors from China are ready to enhance their investments in Sindh. Both sides also discussed advancements in agricultural technology and research to improve productivity.
