MQM Pakistan will commence its Independence Day celebrations from August 1st, Chairman Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui announced in a press conference. He stated that these celebrations, comprising various programs across the country, will see participation from all party wings and the public.
Dr. Siddiqui linked this year’s celebrations to the ongoing “struggle for rights,” highlighting the importance of Karachi and other urban centers of Sindh as the country’s economic engine. He lauded the sacrifices of their forefathers in uniting Muslims and achieving independence.
The party’s schedule includes a visit to the Quaid’s mausoleum on August 1st and an Independence Day celebration at Five Star Chowrangi in North Nazimabad on the evening of August 13th.
The MQM leader reiterated the party’s commitment to safeguarding the city’s residents, who have entrusted them with their electoral support. He reiterated the vision of Pakistan’s creation as a model for the Muslim world. Dr. Siddiqui also mentioned the ongoing progress on the Karachi agreement and the federal administration’s growing engagement with the city’s challenges. He expressed optimism about Pakistan’s potential to play a prominent international role.
