Met Office Issues Weather Alert Following Prediction of Widespread Monsoon Rains from Tomorrow

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a comprehensive weather advisory predicting the onset of widespread monsoon rains across the country starting tomorrow (Wednesday) and continuing till July 2.

Moist currents from the Arabian Sea have begun penetrating the upper and central regions and are expected to intensify in the coming days. A significant westerly wave is forecasted to reach the upper parts of the country by tomorrow (June 25) and become more prominent on June 26.

Tourists have been advised to stay alert and avoid travel during intense spells. Authorities have been urged to remain on high alert and implement precautionary measures to mitigate the impact of the expected wet spell. The public has been advised to stay informed through official updates and act cautiously during the monsoon period.
