Journalists Expose Human Rights Violations in Occupied Kashmir: Latif Akbar

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker, Chaudhry Latif Akbar, has urged the newly elected office bearers of the Central Press Club Muzaffarabad to expose human rights violations in Indian-administered Kashmir. He appealed to them to use their platform to draw international attention to the plight of Kashmiris.

Chaudhry Latif Akbar expressed confidence in the journalist community’s ability to expose the alleged “inhuman atrocities” on innocent civilians at the hands of Indian forces. He stressed the importance of revealing India’s actions to the global community.

The AJK Speaker also emphasized the importance of journalistic integrity. He advised reporters to prioritize truth and accuracy in their reporting and stressed that public trust enhances the dignity of the profession. Chaudhry Latif Akbar highlighted the crucial role of journalism in society.
