The Indian government is under intense scrutiny following allegations of a false flag operation in Pahalgam, with critics condemning it as a glaring intelligence failure.

Counter-terrorism specialist Ajai Sahni has openly criticized the Modi administration, labeling the attack as a consequence of India’s ineffective security strategies.

Sahni accused the Modi government of disseminating misleading information for political advantage, citing past incidents like Balakot and Pulwama, which he claims were similarly misrepresented. According to him, there is no substantial proof supporting the success of India’s purported surgical strikes on Pakistan. Instead, Pakistan not only downed an Indian aircraft but also apprehended its pilot.

Sahni further alleged that Modi exploits every tragic incident to gain political leverage, turning such events into opportunities for garnering support. Defense analysts echoed Sahni’s sentiments, arguing that the Pahalgam episode unequivocally showcases a false flag operation and the shortcomings of India’s military apparatus.

These experts contend that India has a pattern of making baseless accusations without presenting solid proof, reinforcing Pakistan’s assertions. India’s own admission of its lapses serves as a testament to Pakistan’s position in the ongoing regional tensions.
