The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan released the latest currency exchange rates on May 2, revealing slight fluctuations in major currencies compared to the end of April.
The buying rate for the US Dollar in the open market is now 281.43, with a selling rate of 282.89, reflecting a minor increase from the previous rates.
The Euro experienced a decrease, with the buying rate at 318.45 and the selling rate at 321.36, down from 319.58 and 322.63, respectively. The British Pound also followed a downward trend, with its buying rate at 374.15 and selling at 377.75.
The Japanese Yen saw a dip, now at a buying rate of 1.91 and selling at 1.96. The UAE Dirham’s rates are slightly up, showing a buying rate of 76.51 and a consistent selling rate of 77.09 as seen at the end of April. Similarly, the Saudi Riyal’s rates are almost unchanged with a buying rate of 75.14 and selling rate of 75.70.
