Pakistanis are bracing for another potential increase in fuel costs as petrol and diesel prices are projected to rise starting September 16.
Current petrol prices stand at Rs264.61 per litre, while high-speed diesel is at Rs269.99 per litre.
The anticipated adjustments could see petrol climb by Rs1.54 per litre and diesel by a steeper Rs4.79.
Kerosene oil may also experience a Rs3.06 per litre jump, with light diesel oil potentially increasing by Rs3.68.
These estimates do not account for government levies and fluctuations in currency exchange.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will present its official proposal to the government on September 15.
The Prime Minister will make the final determination, with the Ministry of Finance issuing a formal announcement thereafter.
