In a significant step for transgender rights in the province, the Balochistan cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mir Saraf Baz Bugti, approved the first-ever transgender policy during its 19th meeting. A minority endowment fund was also approved. The assembly ratified the decisions of the previous meeting and reviewed the progress on ongoing projects.

The cabinet approved several other key initiatives. These include the provincial aviation strategy and a three-year aviation development roadmap for 2025-2027. Additionally, Sooqran and Karbala were granted tehsil status.

The government also focused on legal and administrative improvements. They ratified the provincial Evidence (Amendment) Bill and approved a ban on hate speech based on recommendations from the Home Department. Technical institutions were integrated under the Balochistan Technical and Vocational Training Authority (BTVTA).

Healthcare infrastructure also received attention, with approval for a state-of-the-art Prince Fahd Hospital in Dalbandin and adoption of the Hospital Waste Management Rules 2025. Furthermore, in compliance with a Supreme Court decision, the names Khaliqabad and Shaheed Sikandarabad were restored. In support of international aid efforts, the cabinet exempted World Food Program shipments to Afghanistan from development fees.
