The Sindh government is actively providing relief to flood victims, said Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon. He said that the Sindh administration is engaged in relief operations for those affected by the severe floods.

The government is shifting affected residents to safe places and providing essential resources including food, clean drinking water, medical aid, and livestock care.

Memon emphasized the administration’s commitment to supporting the public during this crisis. Government agencies, district administrations, and emergency relief organizations are working around the clock to minimize the loss of life and property.

A significant flood situation has been reported at Guddu and Sukkur Barrages, while the flood level at Kotri Barrage is low. Guddu Barrage had an inflow of 624,456 cusecs and an outflow of 594,936 cusecs. Sukkur Barrage had an inflow of 560,890 cusecs and an outflow of 508,830 cusecs. Kotri Barrage had an inflow of 284,325 cusecs and an outflow of 273,170 cusecs.

Yesterday, 3,522 individuals were shifted to safe places, bringing the total number of relocated people to 173,027, of which 469 are currently residing in relief camps.

183 permanent and mobile medical facilities are operational across the region, providing treatment to over 4,174 patients in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of treated individuals to 92,958.

Livestock protection measures are also underway, with 3,192 animals shifted to safe locations yesterday, bringing the total number of relocated animals to date to 450,571. 39,589 animals were provided with vaccinations and medical treatment during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of treated animals to 1,305,573.
