Deputy Speaker Honors Kashmiri Martyrs, Vows Continued Support

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, paid homage to Kashmiri martyrs and their enduring struggle against Indian rule on Kashmir Martyrs Day.

In a declaration disseminated via the National Assembly”s official account on X (formerly Twitter), Shah commended the resilience of the Kashmiri populace against what he termed decades of Indian oppression.

He emphasized that the sacrifices made by those who lost their lives in the fight for Kashmiri liberation would be remembered. Shah expressed confidence that the Kashmiri people would ultimately triumph in their quest for justice and autonomy, envisioning a future where they live freely.

The Deputy Speaker called upon the global community to acknowledge and address the alleged human rights violations occurring in Indian-administered Kashmir. He urged international actors to actively contribute to ensuring the Kashmiri people”s right to self-determination. Shah reiterated Pakistan”s unwavering commitment to supporting the Kashmiri cause in all international forums and platforms.
