On the directives of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Muhammad Suhail Rajput, Consultant Provincial Ombudsman Sindh and Incharge District Khairpur, Ahmed Bux Ghumro held an open court at Town Committee Choondiko, Taluka Nara, where he heard public complaints and received applications. The Chairman of Town Committee Choondiko, Sardar Bux Ali Arain and Assistant Commissioner Nara were also present on the occasion.

Thirty-five complaints were registered. Three issues related to Town Committee Choondiko were resolved immediately by the chairman. Twenty-one complaints pertained to various government departments. Eleven applications regarding natural gas service were forwarded to the Sukkur regional office of the Federal Ombudsman.

The Medical Superintendent of Taluka Health Office and Rural Health Center Choondiko reported a recent increase in Hepatitis A infection in Taluka Nara. He informed that special units have been deployed to deal with the outbreak. He also revealed that three Rural Health Centers and all Basic Health Units in the taluka are without laboratory services. Taking immediate notice, the Consultant Provincial Ombudsman contacted the District Health Officer Khairpur, Dr. Nadeem Ashraf Jokhio, and ordered immediate action.
