A meeting chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti reviewed the work of the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (BTEVTA).
Provincial Advisor for Labor and Manpower Sardar Ghulam Rasool Umarani, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Principal Secretary Babar Khan, Secretary Labor Niaz Nichari, and Managing Director BTEVTA Tariq Javed Mengal participated in the meeting. They reviewed BTEVTA’s achievements, ongoing initiatives, and future plans for advancing technical education and training in the province.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti highlighted BTEVTA’s vital role in preparing a skilled workforce, enabling youth employment opportunities.
The Chief Minister Youth Skills Development Program was also reviewed. Mir Sarfaraz Bugti emphasized the program’s aim to equip Balochistan’s youth with modern technical education, making them financially self-reliant in local and global markets.
Mir Sarfaraz Bugti directed the strengthening of BTEVTA’s organizational structure and enhancing the capacity of training centers. He reiterated the provincial administration’s commitment to empowering Balochistan’s youth by utilizing all available resources.
