ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gil has said once again PTI will prove itself as the largest party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after conclusive results of local government (LG) elections.

Addressing media here on Tuesday, he said the major reason of our defeat in many areas is wrong selection of candidates. He said due to multiple entries of our candidates, PTI vote divided and resultantly JUI-F won more seats.

Answering PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s diatribe against PTI, he said instead of criticizing PTI’s internal political affairs, they must appreciate our efforts for conducting free and fair elections. He asked them whether this victory of JUI-F has failed their narrative of rigged elections.
