KARACHI:Pakistan on Tuesday reported three deaths due to Covid in the last 24 hours while the nationwide tally of fatalities from the pandemic has jumped to 28,839.
According to the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 250 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours while the total number of confirmed positive cases has surged to 1,289,543 so far across the country.
The NCOC data showed that 478,173 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 443,937 in Punjab, 180,710 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 108,146 in Islamabad, 34,615 in Azad Kashmir, 33,536 in Balochistan and 10,426 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 22,601,431 coronavirus tests and 36,944 in the last 24 hours. 1,251,584 patients have recovered in the country whereas 734 patients are in critical condition. The COVID-19 positivity ratio was recorded at 0.67 percent.
