Karachi: Administrator Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Friday said that the minority community in Karachi enjoys equal rights and we are besides them in their happiness.
“Christmas is celebrated with devotion and respect all over the world. The Sindh government has taken all precautionary measures regarding Christmas celebrations,” he made these remarks during a visit to St. Patrick’s Church on Friday evening and a meeting with Cardinal Joseph Coutts and Father Saleh.
The Administrator Karachi presented cakes and flowers to Cardinal Joseph Coutts on the occasion of Christmas while he along with Cardinal Joseph Coutts, MPA Lal Chand Ukrani and others sliced the Christmas cake together.
Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that we should participate in their festivals to make them feel that they are our own people.
“Our Christian brothers have an important role to play in the construction and development of Karachi. May all the people of Karachi promote mutual love, brotherhood, equality and solidarity so that this city becomes the cradle of peace ,” the Administrator hoped.
