Cold weather forecast for many areas

QUETTA: Met office on Wednesday forecast that continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is likely to enter upper parts of the country tonight.

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while partly cloudy in upper parts. However, rain/snow is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Fog/ smog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab.
