Zimbabwe’s top diplomat in Pakistan, Titus M.J. Abu-Basutu, has invited Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori to attend the inauguration ceremony of Zimbabwe’s Honorary Consulate in Karachi. The invitation was extended during a meeting between Ambassador Abu-Basutu and Governor Tessori at Governor House, where the two officials discussed strengthening diplomatic ties, trade partnerships, and investment opportunities.
Governor Tessori highlighted Pakistan’s potential for foreign investment and trade, suggesting that African countries, particularly Zimbabwe, could benefit from these opportunities. He emphasized the importance of strengthening people-to-people and business-to-business contacts between the two countries. The Governor reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to expanding trade partnerships with African nations to promote development, economic progress, and global cooperation.
The meeting concluded with a mutual understanding to further enhance bilateral relations and increase collaborative efforts across various sectors.
