State writ challengers will be dealt with iron hands: Federal Interior Minister

Pakistani authorities have resolved to take decisive action against alleged India-backed terrorism in Balochistan. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti chaired a high-level security meeting to address the escalating violence.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that those involved in terrorism and their supporters will face consequences. He promised a stern response against anyone challenging state authority.

Chief Minister Bugti emphasized collective responsibility in countering terrorism, calling it a national struggle. He affirmed the coordinated efforts of government agencies to restore peace and order in the province. He assured that the sacrifices of security personnel and citizens will not be forgotten and stability will be restored.

The meeting was attended by senior officials from various security agencies, including the Inspector General of Police, IG FC North, DIG CTD, DIG Special Branch, DG Levies, Home Department representatives, and senior police officers. The meeting also reviewed the progress of the provincial action plan and the challenges in its implementation.
