A cohort of students from the University of Sargodha (UoS) has successfully completed a specialized exchange program at the Civil Aviation University of China (CAUC), marking a significant milestone in the deepening academic and research ties between Pakistan and China.
According to a statement issued today, a graduation ceremony held at the Chinese university celebrated the conclusion of the International Student Exchange Program, which encompassed a series of intensive training and academic activities designed to promote cross-cultural understanding and global scholastic engagement.
The initiative, led by UoS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas and supervised by ORIC Director Prof. Dr. Ahmad Raza Bilal, highlights the continuing partnership between the two institutions. The collaboration reflects a mutual dedication to strengthening educational and research linkages between the two nations.
During their time in China, the Pakistani delegation gained firsthand experience with the aviation industry through visits to major aerospace and Airbus manufacturing facilities. The itinerary also included tours of significant historical and cultural sites related to the development of Chinese aviation.
The program”s core featured joint mentorship sessions attended by both Pakistani and Chinese scholars. These sessions covered a diverse range of subjects, including Chinese Traditional Culture, Modern Business Management, and Aviation Environmental Governance Policy.
Further academic modules focused on China’s Air Transport Industry, publishing in high-impact journals, writing successful research grants, and the role of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) in aeronautical engineering.
Specialized topics also explored the emerging “Low-Altitude Economy” as a new frontier in urban mobility and innovation management within the modern civil aviation industry.
This exchange is viewed as a crucial step in reinforcing the educational partnership between Pakistan and China, fostering a culture of innovation and mutual understanding in the higher education sector.
