UN Security Council Denounces Deadly School Bus Attack in Khuzdar

The United Nations Security Council has issued a strong condemnation following a terrorist attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, which tragically claimed the lives of six Pakistani nationals, four of whom were schoolchildren. A press statement from the Security Council detailed that the attack also left fiftythree individuals injured, including thirtynine children.

Members of the Security Council conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the government, and the people of Pakistan. They extended wishes for a swift recovery to those wounded in the attack.

The council emphasized terrorism as a severe threat to global peace and security. They stressed the importance of holding accountable those responsible for such acts and called for international cooperation with Pakistan to ensure justice.

The Security Council reiterated the criminal and unjustifiable nature of terrorism, asserting that these acts must be combated through adherence to the United Nations Charter and international law.
