A high-speed collision on the National Highway near the livestock market resulted in the death of a 65-year-old man last night. Muhammad Mallah, a resident of Talhar city, lost his life instantly when a passenger van collided with the Qingqi rickshaw he was traveling in. Five others, including Lakhadano Laghari, Shafi Muhammad Laghari, and Ghulam Rasool Solangi, sustained injuries and were rushed to Talhar Taluka Hospital.
The van driver fled after the accident, but authorities have taken the vehicle into custody. Muhammad Mallah, the deceased, was the brother of prominent leader Nabi Bakhsh Mallah from Amir Bux district Badin. His funeral prayer attracted hundreds of mourners, and he was interred at Syed Haider Shah Cemetery. The incident has left the local community in mourning.
