Threats to foreign diplomats: Sindh bans drone flights in South Zone

KARACHI: Sindh government on Friday imposed a ban on drone flights in the south zone after getting a police alert of a threat to foreign consulates.

The Inspector General of Sindh Police informed the government about potential threats. The Sindh police chief wrote a letter to the provincial government to take immediate security measures to avoid any unpleasant incident. Following the seriousness of the information from the police chief, the Sindh Home Ministry issued a notification of a ban on drone flights for the next three months.
