In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has asserted that India is fostering an environment of fear and terror aimed at stifling the Kashmir Freedom Movement.
APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas emphasized that New Delhi is specifically targeting Hurriyat leaders and activists by employing draconian laws against them. Raids under the Armed Forces Special Powers Act, Public Safety Act, and Unlawful Activities Prevention Act are being carried out on the homes of these leaders, activists, and ordinary Kashmiris.
The spokesperson highlighted that leaders and activists are being detained, with their properties confiscated, forcing the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir to live under the shadow of Indian oppression. He stressed that these actions should serve as an eye-opener for the international community.
The situation in IIOJK remains tense as the region grapples with India’s intensified measures against the Kashmir Freedom Movement.
