The Sindh Minimum Wage Board has announced a significant increase in the monthly minimum wage for workers of different skill levels, effective from July 1, 2025.

Unskilled laborers will now receive a minimum of Rs. 40,000 per month. Semi-skilled employees will earn at least Rs. 41,280, while skilled workers will receive a minimum of Rs. 48,910. Highly skilled workers will see their minimum monthly compensation rise to Rs. 50,868.

Secretary of the Minimum Wage Board, Muhammad Naeem Mangi, confirmed the new wage scales. He added that interested parties, including business organizations and labor unions, can submit objections within two weeks to the relevant department.

It is legally mandatory for all registered and unregistered industrial establishments operating within Sindh province to implement these new minimum wage standards.
