KARACHI: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail offered Eid prayers in the mosque of Governor House with precautionary measures.

After the Eid prayers, special prayers were offered for the security, development and prosperity of the country and the nation. On the occasion, the governor said that on the eve of Eid, the needy and economically weaker people should be shared in their happiness and implementation of the instructions issued by the NCOC on prevention of Corona virus be ensured.

He said that special care should be taken of the people suffering from economic hardship due to Corona. People should celebrate Eid with simplicity and Islamic traditions. The Sindh governor said: “SOPs should strictly be followed against Corona. Take special care of your loved ones on this Eid and stay at home and stay safe. Doctors, paramedical staff as well as law enforcement officers and personnel are commendable who are also performing their duties on the day of Eid. We should also remember our Kashmiri brothers who are celebrating Eid in the most difficult conditions.”
