Sea conditions may remain rough along Mekran coast: PMD

QUETTA: Pakistan Meteorological Department’s (PMD) Quetta Regional Center on Monday forecast that partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the Balochistan province with cold to very cold conditions in northern parts during the next 24 hours. However, rain-wind, isolated thunderstorms/ heavy falls, may occur in Jiwani, Pasni, Gwadar and Kech areas including its surroundings. Sea conditions may remain rough along western parts of Mekran coast.

Weather forecast for next 48 hours: partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the province with cold to very cold conditions in northern parts. However, rain-wind, isolated thunderstorm/ heavy falls, may occur in Jiwani, Gwadar, Pasni, Kech, and coastal areas including its surroundings.

Weather forecast for the last 24 hours: partly cloudy weather prevailed in most parts of the province with cold to very cold conditions in northern parts. Rain occurred in Jiwani, Gwadar and Turbat during the last 24 hours.

Maximum temperature recorded on Monday; Barkhan 22, Dalbandin 24, Gwadar 27.5, Jiwani 26.5, Kalat 15, Khuzdar 20, Lasbella 30, Nokkundi 24.5, Ormara 27.5, Panjgur 23.5, Pasni 27, Quetta 19, Samungli 16.5, Sibi 27.5, Turbat 28.5 and Zhob 19.
