KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday that during the week ended on 16 April-2022, its reserves increased by US$36 million to US$10,885.7 million.

According to SBP information, the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$17,045.0 million as of 16 April 2022. The breakup of the foreign reserves position is as under:

Foreign reserves held by the SBP are US$10,885.7 million; Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks are US$6,159.3 million. During the week ended on 16 April, SBP reserves increased by US$36 million to US$10,885.7 million.
